Form not always submitting or sowing who submitted the form

Hello

We have used Weebly for over ten years and we recently added a new page and we are using Weebly’s Contact Form. This page is used by our clients to submit a PDF after they answer a few questions. The files being submitted are tiny, under 300kb.

The issue is that not all form entries are recorded or tracked by the Contact Form, and therefore we are not getting those emails.

For instance, a client made 3 separate form submissions today, with a PDF attachment, but we only received 1 of the 3. When I looked at the Contact Form Entries, there is only one entry for this client.

As the web builder, I tested it. I made 3 submissions and only 2 of 3 submissions were sent. When I look at the Contact Form Entries, only 2 of the 3 submissions are recorded or tracked.

It's not a "whitelisting" issue because we have that defined and the email comes in, when sent. It is like the Contact Form is never seeing those submissions.

Everything we use is built by Weebly so we do not use 3rd party add-on. This is Weebly's Contact Form.

After clicking the submit button, a page is displayed acknowledging the submission.

Any ideas?

I am replying to my own thread since I have been doing testing on this issue and I am pretty sure I found the cause.

When making multiple/repeated submissions (complete form, attach file, click submit, then repeat), like some of our clients have to do because of the Contact Form's limitations, if the same business name is used, not all submissions will be sent or tracked by the Contact Form.

Now, I say business name because that is the first field on our form but I would wager it's simply the first field on the form. Regardless, if the business name is changed slightly, such as appending 1, 2, 3, and so on, the form will be sent and tracked. I assume this is happening because of the IP tracking but regardless, this could be corrected.

So mods for Square/Weebly, please submit this to development to get corrected. If I ma incorrect, please reply with how to correct this.

FYI. If there were more options that could be used on a Contact Form, I could probably work around this.

Thanks
