Create Gift Cards

As a charity we would like to create Gift Cards that can be printed out and given to people that we support.  The gift card would have a face value ($20) but there is no transaction as the card is a gift from our organisation.  Any help on how we could do this would be appreciated.

We have a similar issue, where we want to issue gift cards in compensation to our clients who trade goods with us.

Currently, there are no plans to implement the ability to print Square gift cards for your customers. Square's gift cards are primarily intended for digital transactions, but if you prefer a physical option, we collaborate with our partner to offer plastic gift cards to businesses.

Although printing paper gift cards isn't on our roadmap, you can use a workaround by applying a full discount to the gift card sale. This ensures no additional charge for your customer or double accounting on your end. For instructions on creating a discount, you can visit this page.
