Combo/Kit Pricing

Background - merchandise business selling to sporting clubs. 

Problem - I have offered a "kit price" to a club for a singlet and shorts. When I set the coupon up, it is reducing the price from each item, not combined. Ie, total price is $66 with $11 off when both items are purchased together. The coupon is taking $11 of each item. Is there any way around this?

Just to clarify here, are you creating a coupon in Square Online or are you setting up a discount for your point of sale?

If you're wanting to apply this discount on your point of sale, we should be able to achieve this by ensuring you have the option to automatically apply the discount toggled off. 

A manually-added automatic discount will apply to all items in the cart, not just items selected in that discount’s rules.

I was trying to achieve the kit price by applying a coupon. However, the coupon applies to items bought individually as well as in a kit which I don't want to happen. 

All my sales are online so I can't apply the discount at point of sale.

Thanks for confirming, @katylou.

There are certainly differences in the functionality of point of sale discounts and Square Online coupons. 

At this time, Square Online coupons apply to each item in the order. There isn't a way to prevent customers from using the coupon when purchasing a single item from the list of applicable items.

You would need to adjust the discounted value with this functionality in mind.
