Close of Day Report not reporting all sales

Hey Community,

Restaurant here. On restaurant premium.

I'm being told my reporting timeframe, which is set for 12:00am to 11:59pm (full 24 hours of the day), is not what determines what hours of sales the close of day report shows up. We open early for events, and those days do not report on the end of day report. I'm told the Normal Business hours are the only hours that will show on the Close of Day report. Nowhere in the dashboard does it warn me of this. Is this possible? I need to know ASAP because we tip out based on that report.

Our shows payments taken after hours online or even if I process items at my desk after hours.  I hope they haven't changed that.  That will be problematic for reconciling.  Sometimes you might have to reprint an end of day report if transactions were paid after posted hours for better reconciling.  However, I have run into some banks might take longer to "accept" a payment, for example if a client pays me at 11:30 friday night it will show on the end of day report if I reprint it saturday morning but the payment will be received in my bank on Saturday batched deposit.  Weekends and holidays can get a bit 🐿.

We have been having same issue for about 2 weeks.  The sales report that I can retrieve from the dashboard is set for 12:00AM to 11:59PM as it should be.  The end of day report  that is emailed to me around midnight is cutting off transactions at 6PM.  Unfortunately we are open until 8PM two nights a week.  IT is this end of day report that I have been forwarding on to our book keeper ever since we first started with Square a little over a year ago.  Two days a week it appears we have too much money in the cash register because those 6PM - 8PM sales are not showing up. Have you heard anything from Square as to how to solve this problem that has only recently started happening?
