With the Square Reader, there's no specific tender for Apple/Google Pay, it's just a part of the 'Card' tender on the checkout screen.
To accept payments, have customers hold their iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch near the reader until four green lights appear and a chime sounds. When you see the checkmark on your screen, the transaction is complete.
Also - can you confirm if you've already added your bank account details to Square in order to be able to start accepting card payments?
