Card Swipe

Hello

Is it possible to take a customer card swipe to secure a table and be able to take payment if the customer left without paying?

I’m hoping someone will prove me wrong here, but pre auth on tabs or bookings isn’t currently available. 

There is a something within the appointments system that will let you take card details to secure an appointment - could this be something you can adapt? (I don’t know enough about the appointments system to offer any useful advice though!)
