To activate your Square account for card processing, you need to complete the final step which includes basic identity verification. If this has failed on your first try, I recommend paying careful attention to the information that you enter.
Here are some thoughts to keep in mind:
1. Do you have multiple names on your ID document? Please only provide your legal first and last name as they appear on your ID, leaving off any middle names.
2. Has your name changed in the past 6 months? Try entering your legal name before it changed.
3. Did you enter a business name or address in the personal information fields? Make sure to provide us with your legal name and home address.
4. Have you changed your home address in the past 6 months? Try entering your home address prior to moving.
