I have created my login and am using that to set up and administer the web store. All is OK.
I've tested the Square App on my iPad and it seems to be good - but I used my adminstration login to do that.
Is it possible to have another login that connects to the same backend database so I don't have to give out my admin password?
Thanks for any help
Alan
Hi @alansh, it sounds like the Team Management feature may be useful for you in this case.
You can setup a team member and assign them a permission set. With the permission set, you can control what the team member/staff can access or do. If the permission allows them to login to the Square Dashboard or manage the Online Store on your behalf, they can do so my using their own email and password so you do not have to give them yours.
More information on how to set this up can be found in our Support Centre. Let me know if you have any question!

Is it possible to set up an additional account for the square POS for restaurants - I want to set up a password to access the POS system and use but not as a sole team member as multiple people will use the same log in. I can only see to set up a team member you need an email but as for multi use I don't have one specific email
Hi @hummingbirdcafe, welcome to the Seller Community!
Although there is no way to create a specific password for a group of staff, there may be a workaround for that. You can create a login for a group of staff instead of one staff. For example, instead of entering a name for a person, it would be a group name. Then they can use same the login code.
However, I recommend using the Team management tool that is specifically designed for that. You can add each of your staff individually with their job title and create a Permission set for the group. This way, the group of staff will get the same restricted access but you will see who took a payment on individual level and can pull up performance reports and manage their shifts.
Please note, to create new access in Team section, you will always need to add an email address.
I hope it helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
