CAN I CONNECT MORE THAN 1 SQUARE READER SIMULTANEOUSLY

I have identified a need (because of the configuration of our sales area) to have a second square reader attached to the same iPad simultaneously but am unsure if it is possible to do this. Can anyone advise please?

This should actually be doable, though you won't be able to do the reverse (connect one reader to two iPads).

Simply connect a second reader as per the first - when you go to take a payment either reader should be able to complete the transaction. One thing to keep in mind is that the more devices you have connected via Bluetooth to one iPad, the more unstable the Bluetooth operating environment can become. So if you're using 2 readers on the iPad I recommend disconnecting any other BT devices (eg a speaker) and it's something to watch out for if you've got a BT printer connected.

I will give it a try. Our printer is Ethernet connected and we only have the swipe facility connected via speaker so it should be OK.
