fuel cutoff

When I pump gas/diesel my card is only authorized for $60. For anyone that has larger fuel tanks or especially  now with higher fuel prices this is a pain! Is there anyway to change this limit?

@anybodytowing I know the last time gas prices got high, when you ran into these limits, typically the easiest way is to pre-pay for the fuel by going inside and then if you don't use it all, most gas stations just refund the overage.  That does require 2 trips inside and does require more inconvenience.  Also, I know you can just pre-pay what you will use inside to bypass the pay at pump, at least where I live.

I am sure that a lot of providers will look at adjusting those limits, but that is really a fraud protection for you and for square to make sure someone doesn't take too much out of the account at once, especially with the fraud that can happen at pumps.  These forums are generally for sellers using square products, but I am sure you are not the only one saying things like this.  In their defense, with all of the turmoil and prices rising over night, I think anyone can understand this is something unprecedented in our world.  I personally understand the inconvenience, but if that is what I must endure versus war and being a refugee, I will deal with it.

I would understand the fraud protection IF it applied evenly to ever purchase. I guess for right now I am just stuck running the card twice. Thanks for the input.
