What happens yo the balance from an expired check when the vendor doesnt deposit it on time?
I pay my landlord with square mobile check . If he doesnt deposit it in 3 months it expires and the check is void. What happens to that money from the check if it wasnt actually cashed in time?
I would check with your landlord to see if they received the funds. I assume the money stays in your account, and you would have to reissue a new check.
