Square Loans July 2025

I have seen a recent slow down in loans offered by square. I personally am at 75% on my 3rd largest loan since 2018. What is the current trend of a new loan offer at the moment? Has anyone received a loan as of late?

There isn't really a trend. The system will determine based on sales and other factors. At 75%, you can expect it soon, but more so as you approach 80%.

It's just one of those things where you have to wait it out. I know we can get a bit anxious as we get closer because we want that capital boost, but unfortunately, we just have to wait. I'm at 49% for a loan I got in March, and the anxiety is creeping, especially since I need a boost to purchase inventory for a new venture in my business.

Hi @Blackbear579

Thanks for posting on the Seller Community.

We appreciate your loyalty when choosing to partner with Square for your past business loans.  New offers are not automatically extended when a certain percentage of an existing loan is repaid, but your business may become eligible for a new offer when your existing plan is closer to being repaid. Offers are based on many factors, including, but not limited to, your current payment processing volume, your customer mix, and your Square account history.
