We opted to utilize the square checking for faster availability of funds. We have received the notification that our new debit card will arrive by May 01. Are we able to add the card to our apple wallets or other online merchants to make business purchases until the physical card arrives? The FAQ articles i have reviewed make it seem like yes we can go ahead and access these funds. But, and this may be the only stipulation to the usage, we attempted to transfer funds from the new checking using the new business debit card number (Venmo specifically since we have a physical card) but we received an error on Venmo’s side that the transaction could not be completed.
My thoughts is maybe since they are a competitor (because you can add a cash-app card as a method of payment to Venmo and vice verse)— that may be why it denied. I wanted to see if anyone could possibly shed light on if we added the card to our Wal-Mart pay as a payment method for purchases would we get the same error that it cannot be used.
