My Square savings account stopped taking a percentage from each transaction?

I had my Square savings account set to take a percentage from each transaction so save for taxes. It suddenly stopped saving in May. How do I reactivate that?

Hi @alma_dearte The screen shot below is from my savings setup.  In your online dashboard, go to your savings account and be sure the the main savings and/or any savings folders you have setup say “Auto saving x%.”  If they don’t then click on each one that you want to be auto-saving into and turn it back on.  I wouldn’t know why it turned off in May, though.

If, however, the auto saving message is there, then there is a problem in your account and you’ll need to get on the phone with customer support.  They will be able to get into your account and either fix what’s wrong or escalate the issue to someone who can fix it.

I’ll mention that it might be possible that all you need to do is turn auto savings off and then back on again.  You can try that before you call support and maybe you’ll be lucky enough that it does the trick.  But that’s a long shot so don’t be surprised if that doesn’t work.

Good luck!
