My Square debit card is worn, how do I order a replacement card?

My Square debit card is worn, how do I go about ordering a replacement card? I’d like to keep the same card # to keep it simple, so I don’t want to say I lost it or it was stolen… which seem to be the only 2 options available in the app that relate to this situation. TIA

I checked in with the team and was informed that it is not possible to receive a replacement card with the same number. I apologize for any inconvenience. 

 

You would need to mark the card as lost or stolen in order to receive a new one. Full instructions can be found here

hey @BernadetteA.

thanks for the reply. i wish i could dislike this answer.... but none the less, thanks for the info. i may have to reach out to headquarters myself and see if we can't get this changed in the system. any other checking account in the country will print you a duplicate card, i'm sure they have a reason as to why they won't, but i'd like to at least know what it is. thanks again!
