I'm at 71% and usually see a offer by now (between 65%-70&).

I'm where you are at (minus the actual loan offer part.) Sale are up about 60% over a year ago and processing is up about 65%. All the other things are in the green.
I think most people's frustrations are that it's just not transparent and there isn't a clear goal to strive for. It is also disheartening to just be told the same quotes over and over. It comes across as uncaring and impersonal. Which if that's the case is fine, that should be conveyed to clear up misconceptions and so people don't get their hopes up. It would also come across as more professional to state those things (economy and such) from Square itself. It would let people know where they stand and can make appropriate decisions.
After posting this, I also received a new loan offer at 84% paid off last week.
Hi did your offer increase from your last offer?
Hi did your offer increase from your last offer?
Hi, no it dropped significantly. It was only about 30% of the last offer. My sales have been okay, they haven't increased or gone down, just steady. So the drop was quite surprising!
@hum3kimp I wouldn’t be too surprised at the drop. This is not just happening with Square, but with anyone who lends money right now. The uncertainty and instability in the market and in the economy is causing most lenders to be much more conservative than usual with how much exposure they have on their balance sheets. And it is looking like today the Fed is going to increase the base lending rate another .25%. It’s getting very expensive for borrowers every day (I’m betting but can’t guarantee that my next Square offer will come with a higher fee). And it’s getting more risky for lenders every time the rate goes up, even if it is just .25%.
Yeah that some fair points. Probably more about the economy and whats happening right now, than our business. A small skid in sales probably factored in it too.
Definitely when I got my first 19,500 loan it was only 10% of daily repayments, now for the 12,450 its 14% of daily repayments. I don't believe the fee has changed much from what I can see.
Anybody have any luck lately)
off the ineligibility screen and back to showing the factors but paid to 91% and no offer. The way I see it, the longer it goes the less comes off the top to pay back my current loan. How’s yours looking?
Ok, i’m paid off here since yesterday off my 3rd loan. Everything is green but no offer yet.
If you don't mind me asking, how many months did it take you to complete the loan? Trying to figure out if finishing it out in a quicker timeframe = quicker offers in the low to mid 70s% or is there really no rhyme or reason when they are offered.
1st one is 3000 got an offer at around 77% in less than 2 months.2nd $4400 recieved an offer at about 80% in like 2 months and 2 weeks and my 3rd one been paid off for a 2 says now but haven’t recieved an offer yet, took me about 4 months to pay off $6100 . If that helps
when you say you're off the ineligible screen, do you mean it doesn't say that at all anymore? I'm 79% all green but says currently ineligible.
No. For a while there it wasn't showing me all the factors and just had a white screen that said your business is ineligible for the square loans program.
What current loan are you on?
This is my 10th I believe.
I just received an offer for $43k at 76% repaid. I’ll let you guys know when I’m approved.
Just now?
Yes. This afternoon. About an hour ago.
So happy for you but I’m so disheartened I could cry. They were so dependable before. Would you care to share your yearly sales etc? I’ve been paid for a while and nothing on my end. Everything is on the up on mine but I feel paranoid bc no offer has come in.
I usually receive an offer every 6-7 months. It’s always been from 60-70% and my sales are very constant and steady. I’m open 7 days a week, but I did just take a 10 day vacation and closed for those 10 days. I am at $170k in credit card sales so far since January 1st and $115k in cash. I don’t know what else I do differently than the average square user. I did do the review on trust pilot as well on Friday.
I may have to go there and do a review. I’ve always told people I love square and have never had any issues. I’m just getting disheartened bc I have really increased business through square this year and chose to trust them and they’ve made a lot of money on my business through processing so… I don’t know if that was a mistake or not. If I just took cash and paper checks instead I would be money ahead on all the processing fees too. Just thinking out loud. I’m so frustrated.
