Hi there @Hopewacup. So this is an issue you will have to explore with your accountant. Square is required to report all monies taken in (by any method) as sales. If you are going to donate those funds, you would do so in your accounting software and book it as a donation, which is the same as an expense. This has the effect of causing donation “sales” to be zeroed out, and you won’t be on the hook for taxes on those.
