Anyone else’s square loan offer significantly lower this year and required to be paid back by 120 da

Our Square Loan Offers have typically been at 20-30% of annual sales, this year, our sales have been the same but the offer was 2.5% of annual sales and has to be paid back in 120 days. We’re trying to figure out what has changed and has anyone else’s had to deal with this?

Hi @JWL401

Thanks for reaching out!

Loan offers are based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your current payment processing volume, your customer mix, and your Square account history. The offer might look a bit smaller than offers you’ve received before. That’s because it’s designed as short-term capital meant for immediate business needs like paying bills, buying supplies—whatever you need to support your business. Keep in mind, we cannot predict if or when your business may receive a higher offer. If you choose to not move forward with this offer, your account will continue to be evaluated for loan offers and we may send larger offers as your business grows.
