You could consider using the free square web builder, see how it goes and if it takes off, pay for the upgrade. This way you aren't spending money to "see if it works" for you online.
I started beading to ease my anxiety too. And to tell you the truth I am still anxious with myself about listing my jewelry online again. I know it will only work if I work it, but I also am extremely affected by PTSD.

Hi, Iโm new to Square for about 4 months. My business is called, Eagle Wings Art, and I have a shop on Etsy also. Iโm so ready to call it quits on Square because after all the work I put in, listing my artwork (thatโs what I sell), I havenโt made one single sale! I put all the SEOโs in and put the perma-link in last night in about 25 items. The funny thing is I got less people to my shop! Help! Can somebody look at my shop and give me an opinion about what I can do to attract new customers? Hereโs my siteโs address https://www.eagle-wings-art.square.site
Thanks so much,
Barbara Hubert/Artist and Owner
Unfortunately, you probably havenโt made any sales because your website is just that, a website. Youโre not going to get online traffic without proper advertising and marketing. Etsy is a different type of platform where all types of businesses will be shown if someone searches for an item.
Also, I donโt believe either of those links you shared are actually your website link. Neither of them worked. If you go to edit your website, and click on โPublishโ, it will show what your website address is!
Hope that helps!
Actually, I figured out the problem with your website address lol you just have to take out the https://www. part.
Itโs just eagle-wings-art.square.site !
I agree you must make your website viewable and track your listing views:
https://modern-makes.square.site/
or
https://destinyproduct.etsy.com
I have both a shop on Etsy but I also made my own to help aid one another
This address is easier to use. https://square.online/app/home/users/146496600/sites/3165[Redacted]7469/dashboard#_=_
Hi All,
I have just joined this new group.
I initially started using crafts as a way to distract from fibromyalgia pain. As I was still working full-time then, I started this business in 2018 at a small artisan market and as a small side gig. It has since grown into more than I hoped it would, with a website etc and I have been working at it more or less full time for about a year. I am now having to scale my business down unfortunately due to health mostly - though I am not closing it down, just slowing down.
What I make has also evolved quite a bit whilst I have been trying to find a happy medium between what I enjoy making and what sells.
I am mostly very much into heritage crafts, I love buttons and their history, and haberdashery. Nowadays, I mostly make Dorset buttons, needlecases or needlebooks, pincushions and other pieces of haberdashery.
Hi Forginthecraft,
All the best - it's OK to slow down you know - as long as you're happy and enjoying what you do - that's all that counts. We are finally at a point where as we control our business, it does not control us.

Best of luck to you! Are you going to just sell online from now on?
I'm a poet my website wordsofwisdomandinspiration.com and I'm a personal trainer website Gettightgetrightfitness.com
Hey there Jayslugs,
I kind of like everything about what I do as it gives me a chance to explore, design and create new things. (And I even get a chance to sell some of them too.)

Hey im new to selling online, i mostly have my items in local business and boutiques, i offer wholesale and I make everything by hand! all crocheted by me ๐
let me know what you make!
We make earrings! We are just getting our website up and running and have previously relied on Facebook and/ or markets for our customers. I also crochet but I just do that for myself and family and friends. I would love to see your work. ๐
Hi KristyCrochets,
I have a Fiber Art Gallery & Studio (physical location). All designs are original and one of a kind. Featuring Hand & Machine Quilted Wall Hangings, Handmade Embellished Fabric Pins & Barrettes, Knit Scarves, Cards, Coasters, Paper Weights, Embellished Vests, Sweatshirts, Fleece Jackets, Hoodies, Fleece Hats, Headbands and more. We also have a website and do some online sales but, our main focus is our physical location as we live in a Mountain Resort Town. In the past we did outdoor markets and events - that's a great way to be introduced to tons of people.

So I have had a Square Card machine since December. I've familiarised my self with the basics, still getting my head around the Online aspect, listing creating and making it personal.
I must admit I was very shock with how easy it was to set it up, and I have used the card machine at my first market earlier this month. I suffer with dyslexia so it may take me a while to go through everyone's threads and suss what the community it all about here.
What advise I have so far? If you get a square email READ IT! there was a focus group type interview that was sent to my email with a chance to waiver processing fee's! I was very doubtful, and assumed it was for a certain about of people once completing the meeting but i did it and am entitled to up to $1000 free processing fees for the next 180 days! which has come in handy!
What do you do?
How long have you used Square online/pos?
What's your favourite thing about square?
What's your most problematic issue with square?
@JewelleryZombie Welcome to the Seller Community and glad to hear that you have had success with Square!
