is it possible to set up different cancelation policies for different locations? I would like to take deposits/prepayment for one location and just hold card for the other location. they both would have different cancelation policies. I already have two locations set up.
That’s an excellent question and a super thoughtful way to manage your locations! At this time, it’s not possible to set up different cancellation policies for individual locations within the same Square account. Currently, cancellation and prepayment settings are applied universally across all locations.
However, this is an amazing feature request, and I totally see how valuable it would be to tailor policies for each location's unique needs! I'd recommend submitting this as a feature request here in the Community. Our team is always listening to feedback like this to enhance functionality for sellers like you!
In the meantime, if it helps, you could consider adding custom notes or instructions in your booking settings or confirmation messages to communicate the differences between locations manually. It's not as seamless as an automated policy per location, but it’s a good workaround for now.
