I have been using Acuity Scheduling for years now and love that it syncs with my iPhone calendar - both ways. I know that Square owns Acuity Scheduling, so my question is why hasn't that technology been shared over to Square Appointments? I am going to have to upgrade to the next level and was considering moving to square appointments, but this is a game changer if I can't sync ical in Square like I do Acuity.
Hey there @Tcallen.. So it's rare that a 'why don't you have....' question gets an answer here. Also, Square/Block does NOT own Acuity -- SquareSpace does, which is a Square competitor. That being said....
There is a pretty good and easy workaround that allows you to have your Square appointment calendar on your iPhone. Just create a free Google email account. Then create a calendar there that you can attach to your Square appointments calendar. Finally, go into your I-device calendar and add that Google calendar to your phone. Your Square Appointments will now be synced with your iPhone/iPad/Mac.
@Tcallen I should have also mentioned that Acuity has a third-party app that integrates with Square. You can find more about there here.
