View service description

Why can’t my customers view service description through the link that the reminders send out? They can see the appt time and date and service name but it does not show the service description. This has important info they need to be able to read. I’m considering using a different booking cite because of this.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we're sorry for the frustration this has caused. We understand how important it is for your clients to have access to full service details, especially when that information impacts how they prepare for their appointments.

Currently, Square’s automated appointment reminders include the service name, date, and time, but do not display the full service description in the message or link. We recognize that this can limit communication and clarity for your clients, and your feedback is absolutely valid.

 

The good news is that we're actively working on improvements to our booking and reminder features, and this type of functionality is on our radar. In the meantime, a possible workaround is to include any key service details manually in the custom message section of your reminder settings. Thank you again for your feedback, and for using Square to run your business.
