Variables within variables

Hi everyone,

let me give you guys some context first. I own a detailing business and I'm trying to set up my prices. The only problem is prices depend on what size your car is. So I have what service customers want, what package customers want, and what car type their car is.

For example, my customers choose interior only detail, then they choose my basic package, and then they select their car type.

Is there a way I could do this? If so how, and if not is there an alternative?

I think you just need to change the order they select things in.  The item would be the service they want, then each variation would be the vehicle type, and then the modifier would be the package.  Whatever makes most sense.  When you get to the package I would make the most basic package be preselected and 0.00$.  Then as the packages upgrade you would add the difference.  So if basic package is included start with 0 there.  If silver package is next and costs 5$ more just do the 5.00 as the modifier cost as it adds on.

If you wanted to really globally do it, and not sure this would be best.  The item would be the size of car, the variation would be the package, and modifier the service or vice versa.

You could really do this well with options for a nice website experience.  You would have a couple different option sets that would populate all of the variations for you.  But the nice thing about this would be you would only have 3 or 4 items to track and it would be very scripted.  Same principle just do modifiers as the add on pricing you need to make it all work out.
