Team members & appointment calendar

Greetings, 

I am trying to set up my appointments and team members. We work with several people and have 3 different spaces that can be booked. 

How do I set up the team and appointment calendar so each team member can see the calandar, add appointments and see what spaces are open?

Hi there!

To set up your appointments and team members with multiple booking spaces, follow these steps:

  1. Set Up Team Members:

    • Go to your Square Dashboard and navigate to the "Team" section.
    • Add each team member and set their roles and permissions. Ensure that they have the necessary permissions to view and manage appointments.
  2. Create Booking Spaces:

    • In the "Appointments" section, you can create resources for each booking space (e.g., Room 1, Room 2, Room 3). Assign these resources to the relevant services your team provides.
  3. Set Up Appointment Calendar:

    • Ensure that each team member's availability is correctly set up. Go to the "Calendar" settings and configure their working hours and availability.
    • Assign the booking spaces to team members as needed so they can see which spaces are available when booking appointments.
  4. Team Access:

    • Make sure your team members download the Square Appointments app on their phones. This way, they can easily access their schedules, manage appointments, and receive notifications for new bookings.

By setting up your team and appointment calendar this way, each team member will be able to see the calendar, add appointments, and check the availability of the different spaces.
