Can I use Square Appointments on Square Terminal?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Sync Square Appointments with Terminal.

This was a request that was made back in 2021, and I haven't seen an answer for it yet. Can I sync my terminal with Square Appointments for checkouts? I don't want to just "record a payment" because it still means I have to do the checkout twice. If I check them out in the appointments app, that means I have to pass them my tablet instead of the terminal , and that's not the way I want to check out my clients. This feature was requested by many people, so I'm hoping there is an update, or at least a straightforward workaround? Help please !

Square Appointments is available on Square Terminal through Bookings Mode, which allows you to manage appointments and process payments directly through your Terminal.

To set this up, follow the steps below in this Support Center article: 

- Step 1: Create a Mode (select "Bookings Mode")

- Step 2: Customize Mode Settings

- Step 5: Switch Modes (important: ensure you don't have any pending offline payments before switching modes)
