I would love to suggest a couple of things that I know would help my business and I think would probably help others too.
In my particular business, the word "reservation" is really more appropriate? Could we have the option to customize the verbiage that the customers are seeing even more, so that we can replace the word "appointment" with a word that applies to our context of business more appropriately?
ALSO, I know I'm not alone when I say we need to have the option to make overnight bookings...please please please?

At this time, there aren’t any plans I’m aware of to introduce a dedicated “reservation” feature within Square Appointments, or to offer the ability to change the terminology from “appointments” to “reservations.”
If your primary focus is managing reservations, we typically recommend setting up Reserve with Google. This allows customers to book with your business directly through Google Search, Google Maps, and the Reserve with Google site - making it fast and convenient for them to secure a spot.
We’re also aware of the demand for more flexible booking options, including support for multi-day bookings, and we’ll continue to share this feedback with our Product Team for future consideration.
