So I've had the square reader for a while but all of my amounts are over a threshold making it a requirement for a pin to be entered.
Personally, I dislike people using my phone to enter their pin number. It makes me uncomfortable and it seems a little unprofessional.
So, I went and bought a square terminal to avoid my phone being used for the pin.
The problem I'm running into is square appointments and square terminal don't link (is this correct?)
What happens is I open square terminal to charge a customer, but I can't marry the existing appointment with my terminal. I need to select the service, enter the customer then proceed with the charge.
I get this isn't a big problem, but the issue is my appointment app (square appointments) doesn't register this as paid and it remains dark blue (not charged or paid) I need to go into the active appointment and delete it... Even after the charge has been done on the terminal the appointments app still has no idea it's been paid?!
Is there a more feasible work around that doesn't require me to delete all previous appointments?
