Square Register Freezing

I now am on my second register. This is a warranty replacement. When I go to check clients out, and they are attached to the sale, under favorites I click on the item. Then, the screen will freeze and no longer allow me to update the sale. I have to close everything out and check out separately, not attaching them from the appointment screen itself. It is very frustrating and incredibly inconvenient. Does anyone else have this issue?

When you have some downtime or at the end of your day, I recommend going through the steps listed here for retting your Register. Please note that this troubleshooting step is different from doing a power cycle of turning the Register off and back on again.
