Does Square have reports to track unpaid past appointments and package redemptions?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Report appointments - unpaid.

On the schedule view you can see the status of appointments, once they are paid they go light blue. I'd like to produce a report of appointments that are currently unpaid as sometimes staff forget to reconcile appointments against a pack.

How can I achieve this?

Hi @djwilton,

At the moment, Square Appointments doesn't have a built-in report that specifically lists unpaid past appointments, and there also isn't a dedicated report that summarizes package redemptions versus remaining credits. Currently, your closest options are:

1. Using your Appointments calendar and customer profiles to verify whether specific visits were checked out or redeemed against a package

2. Exporting your Appointments history (Square Dashboard > Appointments > Settings > History > Export) and transaction report (Square Dashboard > Invoices & payments > Transactions > Export > Transactions CSV), then manually reconciling these against your package sales if you need more detailed tracking

I completely agree that reports for unpaid appointments and package usage would be valuable for catching any missed reconciliations. I recommend submitting each of these suggestions as separate Feature Requests here, so our Product team can track interest and consider them for future updates.

Thank you for sharing how you're using reporting features. Feedback like this helps us understand what would make your day-to-day operations more efficient.

If you have any other questions, please reach out!

Thanks for getting back and thanks for trying to provide a work around I appreciate that. It's not the most ideal give the fuzzy logic required (sales are normally outside of the appointment hours).

I looked at trying to use the square API but hit a blocker on that because api/bookings doesn't return recurring appointments.

I will put in a feature request. Just having the transaction ID on the appointments export would do it.

Thanks

David
