How to set up packages for recurring payment

I have multiple packages that I want to be able to set as a recurring payment option. I can do recurring payments for services/items but cannot do this with packages. Is there a way around this? I am wanting to be able to create recurring invoices for the packages so I don’t have to manually add credits for services at the beginning of each month. Can we make this option available?

  1. Use Recurring Invoices:

    • You can set up recurring invoices to automatically bill your clients for the packages each month. While this doesn’t automatically add credits for services, it does ensure that payments are processed regularly.
    • To set up recurring invoices:
      1. Go to your Square Dashboard.
      2. Navigate to “Invoices.”
      3. Click on “Create Invoice,” then select “Recurring.”
      4. Set the frequency, start date, and other relevant details.
      5. Specify the package details in the invoice item description.
  2. Manual Credit Addition:

    • Once the recurring invoice is paid, you can manually add the service credits to the customer’s profile at the beginning of each month. This ensures that clients receive the correct number of credits for their purchased package.
  3. Subscription Services:

    • If you offer packages as a subscription service, consider using Square’s Subscription feature. You can create a subscription plan that includes the package services, and clients can subscribe to it, ensuring automatic billing and service allocation.
    • To set up a subscription:
      1. Go to your Square Dashboard.
      2. Navigate to “Items” > “Subscriptions.”
      3. Create a new subscription plan and define the package details.
      4. Assign this subscription to your clients.
