Filter services by customer gender

Hello. I would like to know if there is a way to filter services by the client's gender. I already have a gender field created on the client's file.

As of now, Square doesn’t have a built-in way to automatically filter services by a client’s gender — even if you’ve added that field in their profile.

A possible workaround, though, is to create gender-based versions of each service (for example, “Men’s Cut” or “Women’s Spa Pedicure”) and organize them into separate categories on your booking site. That way, clients can easily find what applies to them when booking.

I got that, and that's how I've got it organized in the service categories (Men/Women categories). The issue is that when you want to select a service for a client, the selector doesn't allow filtering by categories. And I guess, that the same happens when they want to do it on the web. Thanks anyway.

Hey @OlgaVidal thanks for posting! I completely understand how helpful it would be to filter by gender, and it’s a bit of a bummer that there isn’t a way to do that right now. You can always submit this as a feature request. While submissions aren’t guaranteed to be implemented, our team keeps an eye on popular suggestions and considers them for future updates.
