I have spoken with a number of other stylists, , and alot of them would like to see an option to have the amount or percentage of tip suggested at checkout be applied to only services.
For example:
Tina get her highlights done for $200, a cut for $50 and 2 retail products for $50. Total ticket cost is $300. Most people tip off of the services done, not including retail purchased. So we are looking for an option to have the Tip suggestion amount show for the Services total of $250, instead of the whole amount of $300. Maybe a checkmark of which ones....
Currently, the only way we can do this is by ringing up the services, checking out, then ringing up the retail separately afterwards.
Personally, I don't have an issue with it, but there are alot of stylists that would like a different option.
