Cash collected for Square appointments isn't showing up on my cash drawer report. Every time we collect cash for an appointment, my cash drawer has an overage. How do I fix this? The cash drawer is linked to Square Retail. But the end of day report does show it on there.
Hey @CDGames. Cash drawers are POS-specific. Unless I missed a recent memo, ha, there is no such thing as a shared drawer. Each POS has its own. In my shop, we don’t rely on drawer reports. I combine all of the cash sales from all POS and then reconcile the drawer to that each day.
Makes sense. That's what we're doing now. It's really only one person per week paying for their appointment with cash. But I wasn't sure if there was a setting I had wrong. Thank you.
