Cancellation policy payment from package?

Is there a way to set up my cancellation policy settings so that a credit from a prepaid package can be applied to a late cancellation or no show rather than requiring a client to also provide a card on file? Or to restrict the booking process in some way to “require package on file” rather than “require card on file” to book? 

I am aware that I can manually workaround this and go in and reduce the quantity of remaining sessions by one if someone late cancels, but having a valid package on file as a requirement for booking would help circumvent the potential issue of people providing invalid cards to put on file, plus there doesn’t seem to be a way to edit remaining package quantity from the mobile app and most of my transactions and appointment check-outs are done from either my phone or iPad, and I have to login from a computer every time I want to reduce a package quantity which is incredibly inconvenient.

At the moment, Square doesn’t have a way to require a prepaid package on file instead of a card on file when booking, and package credits can’t be automatically applied to late cancellations or no-shows. Cancellation policies still rely on having a valid card on file.

While you can manually deduct a session from a package as a workaround, package quantities can only be edited from the Square Dashboard on a computer, not from the mobile app. I know this isn’t ideal, especially if you manage most appointments from your phone or iPad. I’d be happy to pass along your feedback about requiring an active package to book and managing packages from mobile, those would be great improvements!
