I'm about to implement no-show protection, requiring a card number in order to book. I understand the differences between card on file and no-show protection, but I'm unsure if the card on file can be used to book the appointment with no-show protection. My clients typically book 2-8 appointments at once and if I can avoid them having to type in their card information 8 times in one sitting, I'd like to 🙂

Yes, you can use that saved card for future appointments. Make sure your customers click the "Save Card" option when adding their card to the first no-show protection payment.
This will add it to their Customer Profile.
