Best way to book and handle Couple's Massages

What's the best method to handle the booking of Couple's Massages with Square Appointments.  I don't see an option to book two staff/team members on the same ticket under the same service.  I can book two different services on the same appointment, and assign two different team members to provide the massage, but the two services won't run in parallel -- the 2nd service will start when the 1st service ends.  In a competing system, I am able to just book two separate services at the same start time (with diff team members) but then merge the tickets upon checkout to avoid guests having to pay twice -- but the merging of tickets/appointments doesn't appear possible with Square (correct me if I'm wrong!).

Thank you in advance for any ideas, workarounds, etc. on how to handle this.  I'm sure I'm not the only day spa/salon with this situation.

Square claims to support spas, but doesn't support couples massage appointments like other booking platmorms.  This is a feature that would be required by most spas in my opinion.  The number of community posts about this topic clearly demonstrate its importance.  What frustrates me is how simple of a issue this is to resolve.  Simply adding a 'start time' to each service would allow for concurrent services.  Almost all the infrustruture for this in already in place.  They could also allow for the combination of appointments at checkout.

If there is a Square team member that focuses on spa customers, this should be your top priority.  I think I speak for many of your other customers as well.

Square Appointments has limits on couples’ massages. A common workaround is to create a dedicated “Couple’s Massage” service with a double duration and assign two staff members to it so it runs in parallel. You’re right, Square doesn’t currently allow merging tickets. If you want a smoother booking experience, apps like Sitback make it easy to handle multiple bookings, letting guests book two therapists at the same time with a single checkout.

This is basic, foundational functionality that Square continues to ignore. Calling it a 'feature request' is a deflection; it’s a limitation that should have been fixed years ago. My current workaround is to create a specific custom item for 'Couple’s Massage,' but that’s an unnecessary hurdle. It would be so much simpler if Square just allowed a '+1' or additional guest option during the booking process.
