Appointment Rescheduling Adjustment History Log Request

We are a nail salon that is appointment only and currently we can see past appointments, upcoming appointments, as well as canceled appointments. We would love to know if a feature could be added, or if it already exist to see appointment change history.  We've had clients reschedule, add services, make all sorts of changes and it would be very valuable info to see if the same appointment is rescheduled the day before multiple times, other various reasons.  As right now if we reschedule an appointment we don't know when it was originally booked for and have to keep a detailed manual note description when theres any changes but if we don't it gets lost in the abyss with no way of tracking back later on. 

Another option would to have a log of every appointment entry?

Being a high end salon with appointments only our customer service is very important and brings much of our value, so if we can give our team the tools to navigate all the constant changes and history of changes I feel it would be quite helpful. 

We noticed this when following a link on separate thread from squarespace features and it promoted this thread:

"Each appointment has a changelog that tracks appointment booking, all changes made to the appointment, and all notifications sent for the appointment. If you’re worried that a client isn’t getting the notifications they need, or curious how an appointment ended up booked at a certain time, checking the changelog is a great first step."

 

this would be incredible for our team to better navigate with square appointments!

These are great suggestions! I would love to have this for my books as well! I have a few clients that are serial reschedulers and would love to see their history. 

 

I would encourage you to submit this in the Feature Requests so more eyes can get on it.
