I own a Rage Room and customers book their appointments as a service but we offer items to purchase on top of the bins they receive with their booking…like small and medium electronics, tvs, windshields, photo smashing and other various items. These are not services. They are addons to their appointment. Currently i have to put them in as services and they require a duration time in order to show up online. This makes the calendar blocked for longer than it should be for the appointment. I need to give them the option to select these extras as items included with their appointment.
Tell me there is a way please!

At this time, it doesn't seem like there is a way to support items during the appointment booking flow. If @rjonin's suggestion above doesn't help you can submit a feature request on our Ideate board.

I did confirm, and you cannot add items and services in the same checkout. The Service bookings will need to be separate for online.
You could add an items section somewhere on their Appointments category page, but may lead to confusion since it needs to be separate checkouts at this time. I will tag some super sellers with their insights: @BMarxMed @CareyJo @Minion . Thanks everyone!

Hi there,
You can add the items on to your rage room reservation as variations. Services may have 0 minutes as the duration as to not block extra time on your schedule. I have multiple services set up in this manner.
Another consideration, add those electronics as an altogether separate category with a distinct variation for each item with specific pricing/timing. This may also allow you to drill down customer favorites.

I looked over your info and attached screenshots to show you that I'm not able to make services bookable online without a duration. They show up on my pos at the business… but I need people to see them when booking. But notice the bookable online is blue with 5 min entered and it is greyed out with 0 min entered.
Currently when I see what they booked sometimes it is blocking a whole 30 minutes extra on the calendar for all the addons that have to be a 5 min time minimum and the I have to go in to edit the session time down to 5 min so that it will be more like the real time of the appointment and allow someone to book the 30 minutes it was blocking up.
In the end it takes no more time to smash a tv, windshield, monitor and lg breakable than it does to smash the bin they get with the appointment. It all goes in the room at the same time and they smash it all at once. So you can see my annoyance with this.
