how do i turn off the save power mode on a reader . after 15 min goes in save power mode.

The only way to adjust that would be to keep the reader always plugged in or in a Square Dock. My chip readers are this way and never go into Power saving mode. If you are mobile my suggestion is to get a power bank o charge USB devices like a cell phone and use that to keep the chip reader charged while on locations where you can not just plug it in. There are no settings for how long the the reader stays awake before going to the lower power state that I know of.

The reader will go into idle mode and disconnect after 2 hours of inactivity. This is intended behavior to save battery power. As @Candlestore stated, you will need to keep connected.
