Square stand is showing not connected in the Square app
We are having intermittent disconnects throughout the day. Going through the troubleshooting steps, I notice that in the app, under hardware, it does not show the stand as connected, however on the top of the iPad screen it says stand/reader connected. The square app, reader and printer all work fine when the red bar at the top of the screen disappears. I've tried reboots of the iPad and stand, but the problem is still there.

Would you mind walking through these troubleshooting steps? They will insure both your Point of Sale app, as well as your device itself, are both up to date. Running an outdated software can often cause periodic glitches or crashes.
