keep getting "connecting to stand" alert in yellow bar at top of display in Square app...

New Square stand, New iPad was working OK for 1-2 weeks.  Then we started having problems with the iPad not charging while seated in the stand.  At opening, the iPad would have no battery power even though it stays plugged into Stand, and the stand all all accessories remain plugged into the Square hub and power supply always.  

 

Now we continue to get an alert at top of Square app that says "connecting to stand" in a yellow bar. (pic1)  Yet when I look at devices it says all are connected (pic 2).  ???

 We have uninstalled / reinstalled the Square app.  We have confirmed successful current updates on both Square and IOS.  

 

This is driving us crazy.  Anyone have any suggestions or getting the same?

This sounds more like a Question for Square Support.

Since you Had problems with Stand not Charging the Ipad and now a Yellow Bar that states connecting to Square Stand, I am only guessing that the issue could be with the little power plug that connects the Ipad to the stand.  Does the Yellow Bar go away or does it stay on for a long time?  I get that yellow bar and sometimes a Red one when my Power glitches and my internet gets reset, but they do go away within a minute or 2.  I leave my Ipads in their Stands and rarly see these Bars unless something else is going on with the Power or Internet.
