Same bank new account number and updated bank account in square app. Chip reader no longer works. How to fix this?

Isabelle I didn't get it to work and had to swallow the extra points on the sale by doing it manually. I worked in IT for 20 yrs so like to think I am somewhat tech savvy and typically that ends up being the issue LOL. So I am using am android phone the One Plus 9 that just came out. I plugged the cable to the reader and then to my phone. It detects it because as soon as I attach it a message comes across the screen saying connected. Then I swipe the card and it gives me a message I didn't write it down but for the most part the message says "NO GO MIKE" for the most part. I look at my phone and say to it "Phone I'm not mad I'm Hurt" With that said I leave the floor to you to solve my issue I hope 🤔👌

Can you verify the compatibility here? Also - sometimes if the reader has truly failed to connect, our Support Team can look into it and possibly refund the extra charge for manually entered transactions. They only do this once per account - as we usually like you to give us a call before you resort to manual card entry. Please give us a call sometime today so they can see what they can do for you.

Make sure your square reader is connected. Check settings to make sure blue tooth is turned on. If you want to come to class visit my website for drop-in options.
