Service without duration

I am trying to create an appointment with my wholesale customers to charge them for the packages I mail them on a calendar basis. I add the items to charge them but the Square Dashboard won't let me set the appointment without setting a duration. I do not need a duration. We don't meet in person. It's not even letting me choose a duration to let me proceed.

Services themselves which need a duration are needed to create an appointment.  Items alone won't work.

Would clicking the "all day" section below Customer Information solve this issue?  Also is the appointment necessary for a reminder for them or would invoicing work better for this option, which you could set to recurring invoices per calendar basis as well.
