Can't add business hours to location

I cannot add business hours to the only location for my business. When I try to do that on the location details page, the times I enter aren't accepted by the "open time" and "close time" boxes.  The appearance of the boxes is unchanged. Then if I try to save I get the error message "Business hours are invalid." 

I don't need to have the business hours publicized for my business but there are various things I am trying to set up that refer me to enter the business hours and won't work unless they are there.

So far, Square is the worst platform I have ever used and I am hoping we can find something else...

Hi there @RC1789. I think I can help you here, but from the tone of your last paragraph I’m  guessing you are just complaining and not actually wanting help. Still I’ll take a chance and hope I’m right. 

See the two screen shots below from my location. As you can see, my hours are fine and it works. I even tried changing hours to make sure there wasn’t a current problem. All worked normally. 

So I need more information to go on. Are you getting an error message? If so what exactly is that message? Better yet, what exactly happens to let you think they are “not accepted?” It’s easier to help with specifics that are more than just general descriptions. Screen shots would be helpful, too. 

And, if you weren’t asking for help, my apologies for bothering you with my questions.

To build on what @TheRealChipA is saying, I've noticed that the website won't accept just typed in numbers for the hours entry. When you start typing in your hours, you should see a drop down box appear with hours listed. When you choose one of those options, do the hours stay then?
