I set up shipping to auto calculate with UPS or USPS. I created some boxes with max weights and max items and added weights to my items but when checking out it only shows free shipping. Is there a button somewhere I need to turn on so that all my items have a shipping charge? They all show shipping as delivery method.

I added weights to all of mine during set up, but it is still allowing the customer to choose "free shipping". I'm not clear, reading the thread; is this because I have the free version? I'm just getting started, so I'm confused.

So far, my first two sales through my site have not added shipping. It says the customer "selected free shipping." I can't find where to remove that option.

I am having a similar issue with shipping costs not adding up at checkout.
I selected "shipping by weight" and added weights to every single item manually.
(Shipping by Weight
0.1 lb to 1 lb - $5.00 1.1 lb and up - $8.00 Default Rate - $5.00)
I tested it by adding items to my cart and it didn't charge for shipping.
It doesn't specify that I need to upgrade in order to have such a basic flat rate shipping cost added. I would rather not, as this was time consuming enough and I'm not thrilled with the layout.
If it doesn't add the item weights at checkout, can I do flat rate across the board instead?

Thanks for the info. I actually tried flat rate across the board too but it still doesn't seem to be working. Please let me know if you get yours to work.

Shipping rates do not appear until the customer enters the recipient address on the checkout page. This is also when any applicable taxes will apply since taxes are based on the shipping address.
Can you post a link to your website so we can confirm?

Hello, I am having the same issues with flat rate shipping--I downgraded from a paid account and I know real time shipping is no longer an option, but I should be able to use flat rate shipping. I have updated all settings, box info, item weight, and shipping profile. Even after loading up a cart and checking out with all info entered, free shipping is the only option. Please someone help!

Hey there.
Put through a fake sale (but don't check all the way out) and put in a fake address.
It should calculate correctly after you enter the address!!! We as sellers just can't see it on our end 🙂

I upgraded mine to the most expensive option to allow for live shipping rates but it still says FREE shipping. Is there something I am missing here?
