Why isn't my item showing as available for shipping?

[The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Item not available for shipping]

 

A customer recently contacted me regarding an order they were attempting to place. On most of the items he was getting an error message saying “this item is not available for shipping”? 

 

Anyone else encounter this? Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

It is. I believe it has to do with the shopping cart timing out?

Sorry that this continues to happen. I have escalated your question to our Weebly Team for more troubleshooting steps and insight. Is the shopping cart timing out when a buyer is trying to purchase a certain item? Or is this the case with all your items?

"This item is not available for shipping."

 

My customers are receiving the following error if the following scenario occurs and I have been able to reproduce it.

 

1. Add item to cart.

2. Go to checkout

3. Click back button or company logo to return to homepage.

4. Click shopping cart icon.

5. Error message is displayed.

This is also happening on my entire site! All my items appear unavailable for shipping so no one is able to order them!!! BAD!

 

Please, has anyone figured out how to fix this?

my side doesn't look like this, i'm using square space and it allows me to check the boxes but it's not showing up on the site iteself. Any help is appreciated!

so I thought I was using squarespace but it's square...I just figured that out this morning when I tried to download the app for easier editing. I'm not even sure what the difference is because I purchased a domain through square.

I am still in the process of getting my online store up and running.  I am finding a strange thing happening with some of my items offered for my online store.  A few of them are coming up in the order process with an alert that they are not available for shipping only for pick up, but I have gone into the item detail and it definitely shows shipping and pick up as options.  can you help me?

Hello,

 

I have an online store currently using Weebly. Currently, I am using Pick up or Delivery. However, my customers can't select to have items shipped. I set up the Regions and the carriers, but still no option for shipping on the customers cart.

 

What am I missing?

I am also having this issue! If I have an item listed only for shipping, it wont even show up on my store! If it's listed for shipping and pick up, it only shows that it's available for pick up.

Hi,

 

I'm having this issue on my website as well. I've had a handful of customers reach out about this issue. When my customers add in products to the cart and checkout the items say "This item is not available for shipping.". Can we get this fixed ASAP? Confirming I've checked my fulfillment and only have one location.

Hi @WanderingGrace and @AnabayDesigns,

 

There are two common issues that might cause shipping not to show:

1. Your items didn't have weights entered
2. They didn't have "shipping" checked as a fulfillment option.

Check these two options in your Shipping settings and item settings to make sure these are in there.
