Changes made in square dashboard does not sybc up with the Square Register

When I add an item and then assign it to a category, it doesn't show up on the square register device anymore. Or if I rename a category in the menu, it will not apply those changes on the device.

 

Even if I do it on the device and not through the desktop dashboard, the items will not show up ubder the category you assign it to. So far for new items we're just manually adding the amount.

 

Yes, I have rebooted and it is up to date on software updates.

Syncing issues can definitely be frustrating. 

 

It sounds like you have tried all the right things so far. 

 

My advice would be to reach out to our Support Team. They will be able to troubleshoot with you in real time, take a deeper look, and hopefully will be able to get to the bottom of this much quicker. 

 

Please let me know if contacting support does not bring resolution.
