Hello!
In the last week I have been trying to build a new website but I have found a lot of limits due to unavailable options.
Could I please ask the team to review and implement the following?
1. making it obligatory to select a modifier - in some instances I have been suggested by the team that the only options for cutomers to select for example a specifc flavour is to use Modifiers. However, they are optional, so the customer might leave it blank. But if the customer does leave it blank, I will not receive the option of flavour they want, and I will not be able to proceed with my order and will have to manually contact them, ask for the info needed, and hope they reply in time for me to prepare the order before the delivery date
2. have the option to choose between different kind of deliveries. Since I will be able to do a delivery myself only in the weekend, I would like the customers to have the option to choose between my own deliveries (depending on the area, and on weekends between specific times) or third party deliveries, on all days of the week (with price in accordance to their distance).
3. limit the order amount per day that we can receive (for example, after customers place orders for the same day and the total of their orders reach a specific $, no more orders can be placed for the same day)
4. add the option to leave a message or instruction on check-out page. This option is only available for now if we click "NO" at "Calculate and assign delivery times automatically", under the "Timing" section. If we click "YES", the "message" and "information" tabs under the Timing section disapper, whilst it would be very useful to be able to add info or messages even when we click YES to Calculate and assign delivery times automatically
These are really essential for my business and will not run properly or efficiently without these options.
Could I please have some info if they can be implemented, and ETA for that?
Is there any other business that would find these beneficial?

Before diving into your points, I’d like to mention that it's best practice to submit individual feature requests for specific products. We're not able to track multiple requests in a single thread, and when this occurs, we prioritise the first one mentioned. I’ve moved your post to the Square Online discussions board to address your questions in the meantime. If you'd like to submit feature requests later, please submit them individually.
1. making it obligatory to select a modifier - this feature is already available, but it can be easy to overlook in your Item Library.
To make modifiers a required field, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to your Item Library.
2. Select the item you want to modify.
3. Scroll down to the Modifiers section and click on the ellipsis (three dots).
4. Choose Customize.
5. On the next page, you’ll find options to specify the number of required modifiers for order completion, as well as the maximum allowed modifiers.
6. Once you've made your preferred changes, select Done.
Please refer to the screenshot below for guidance.
2. have the option to choose between different kind of deliveries - if you're looking to set up Local Delivery for your own deliveries while enabling Shipping for third-party carriers, we already offer that functionality. However, if your inquiry is about providing multiple types of Local Delivery, this would currently be categorised as a feature request.
3. limit the order amount per day that we can receive - we do provide the option to limit the number of times a customer can add a specific item to their cart for a single order. This feature is currently available with the Square Online Plus plan.
4. add the option to leave a message or instruction on check-out page - to find this setting, visit your Online Overview page, then go to Settings > Checkout. Scroll down to Customer Inputs, where you can toggle the option to allow customers to leave a note during checkout.

Apologies - I was not aware of that! I will make sure next time I follow best practice process to submit a request! 🙂
Please see below:
1. making it obligatory to select a modifier - thank you! I will have a look into that!
2. have the option to choose between different kind of deliveries - yes, my request is to have different kind of deliveries, since I can deliver myself only on weekend and on close locations, but I would like my customers to be able to receive any day of the week and in any location their products, being able to pick a third party delivery service (e.g. Uber Eats, Deliveroo, etc). Looking forward to have this option implemented as it would be extremely beneficial and would allow many more sales!
3. limit the order amount per day that we can receive - I would like to set a max order not per customer, but per TOTAL orders of the day. E.g., if my max capacity is $500, or 20 units, etc, I do not mind if this is requested by 4 different customers or only 1, as long as the total orders for the day do not exceed my capacity.
4. add the option to leave a message or instruction on check-out page - I was referring to the option of adding messages BY me TO the customers, not the other way round (customers to leave messages to me). This is because, for example, I would like at the check out page the customers to see a message regarding their delivery (e.g. what happens if they are not home, or delivery window on when the products will be delivered etc). This option is already available on the website if at "Calculate and assign delivery times automatically" option I select NO, under the "Timing" section. But if at that option I select YES, the "message" and "information" tabs under the Timing section disapper, giving no more the possibility to leave the message to the customer at check out page.
