Until last week, my weebly websites were working fine. Now, none of the three websites open on any browser on any device Mac, iPad, iPhone. In other words, anyone visiting any of the three sites cannot open it. Therefore, all the work I have put up for my students, they are unable to access!
The message that comes up is
‘This site can’t be reached, Server IP address could not be found. DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN’
i have emailed Weebly Support twice and have not heard back.
tried live chat but no one responded.
tried calling internationally and long wait time.

Do you use Optus for internet access, @GeorgeM? There is some kind of issue for people using Optus where custom domains are not resolving for them. We're not sure whether Optus blocking register.com (our Registrar who supplies the nameservers that domains registered through us use), or if it's some other kind of network issue between register.com and Optus. We've reached out to Register.com so they can look into the issue, and from what I saw on Optus's forums it looks like they're also looking into it.

Thanks Adam.
i think you are right. It is an Optus issue. After a bit of googling the other day, I took the plunge and changed my DNS and the problem is now fixed.
Thanks again for following this up. Much appreciated.

Glad to hear that resolved the issue for you! Hopefully Optus will also resolve whatever it is that is causing the issue, too.

I'm not using Optus. I'm using spectrum and my spring lte network and I still cannot pull up my website on my iPhone. It pulls up on my computer just fine.

Can you post a link to your site? I can check on my device. Just to confirm, you've tried with both wifi and data?

Optus is an internet service provider in Australia, and in the past there are have been some instances where they were blocking our IP range. This has happened with other service providers in different countries as well, though. If you use a mobile device and cellular data, does your site load for you?
