My site copy is stuck copying. What do I do?

I would like to rebuild my site with a different theme.  Completely start over.  I read in the community forum to copy site and the progress bar is not moving.  How long does this take?

It depends on how large the site is, but it's usually pretty instant. I'm checking with tech support for you... It's possible we have some sort of queue issue at the moment.

Hi, we were not able to make a copy of our current website for the last few days.

After clicking on "copy" it stops after 2 minutes and the site is not copied. Is there a tech issue?

Hi @Dilaks Click on your name in the top right corner, then click Manage Sites. Click on the three dots to the right of the site name and then choose Copy Site.

I don't have that choice at all, I wan't to make a duplicate site to try different ideas without changing the one I already have finished

I'm very sorry, @ but you are not able to make copies of the type of site in your editor. We always want to bring as many features to the new editor as possible, but I couldn't find anything to indicate this would be available in the near future. You will need to create a new site from scratch or continue to edit the existing one.

is there any way to copy a site.  I have two sies in my Bluehost account and would like them almost identical with a few changes.  It is VERY time consuming to have to rebuild the site from scratch.  Is there a way to copy or import the archive from one site to another?

Hi @stevenw You will have to check with Bluehost support, as we do not have access to your account. I am not familiar with their dashboard setup, but if you were copying a site in Weebly you would do it by clicking the three dots to the right of Edit Site.

Hi @Bernadette, I'm having trouble copying one of the website I've created. The system allows me to copy it, it runs for a little bit and then shuts down with a pop up message stating "Something went wrong".

What can I do?

Thanks! It actually looks like you successfully copied the site a couple times. You can verify this by clicking the three dots to the right of your site title in the editor, or by clicking your name in the top right corner, then Manage Sites. I renames one of your copies for you.

@Bernadette Need some help.  I would like to duplicate my website www.bixbyhomeremodeling.com so I can place a similar site in a new area and use it as a template.  Only issue is when I copy the page, I try to change the SEO settings and it will not change on the page.  Any ideas?

Hi there. Are you trying to make changes under Settings>SEO, or on the individual pages? Can you please try opening the editor in a different browser in private/incognito mode?
